can i create "hot key" to make safe shutdown?

hi im using coinops edition for retrofee
i wonder if i can make some "hot key" to shutdown my pc
i wish a safe shutdown that no make any bad to my pc
and i need it to be a joystick key
any help?

That sounds like a Windows issue, where you wish to start a certain program based on a key press. If you wish to do it from within RetroFE, just create a shutdown button and a batch script that does the shutdown (see attached example).

now i have the bat file that turn off the pc
but how i make retrofe to open this file by pressing joy buttom 5 for example

Hot key handling shouldn't be in RetroFE; you should do that within Windows. If you want it within RetroFE, just make it a selectable game (on the main menu), just like all the others.

i made special collection called "MMsettings" and i put the .bat file inside .
now i have 2 collections 1st called "arcade" and all my games in there. 2nd called 'mmsettings" and all my config in there.
problom is in attract mode- after 60secends its start to spin . problem is that is switching collection after some time and its go to my mmsettings collection

Use the attractModeSkipCollection parameter in your settings.conf to prevent it from doing that or just don't allow attract mode to run through collections at all.

Set attractModeCollectionTime to 0 or remove it from your settings.conf.
