Please post a compiled executable file for your create_mame_xml program so we can create our own updated MAME xml files on Windows.
i.e....
create_mame_xml.exe

Or include it in the core directory of the distribution.

It's not a Windows program; I wrote and used it under Linux to generate the XML files. I just added the source code so others can use it as they see fit, but I'm unlikely to build a Windows version of it. It shouldn't be too hard to port I guess, but my knowledge of Windows compiling is very limited.
