Retroarch integration help
« on: February 16, 2018, 08:44:19 AM »
I've downloaded the 40GB setup on youtube that is "preconfigured" for mame and retroarch and has all the cores etc and has a bunch of artwork.

Unfortunately, I can't get some of the emulator to work.  Atari ones work fine, the SNES works, but the N64 and NES don't.

I've never used retroarch before (mainly Mame and older stand alone emulators).

Attached are my log files and conf files in case anyone can help!

Normally I would suggest asking the one that created the setup, but I had a quick look. I think you need to remove "retroarch" from the arguments in your .conf files.

Thanks for the tip, I've done that and no changes.  I've also tried the linux parameters and no luck.  I'm assuming it's an issue with retroarch.

Try using the command as shown in the log.txt file from the command line. That might give you some valuable input on where the problem resides. I don’t use retroarch, so I’m not familiar with its syntax.

Thanks.  The issue was that cores that I was using didn't support zip files.

Here is what I had to correct to:

For N64:

-L cores\parallel_n64_libretro.dll game.z64

For NES:

-L cores\mesen_libretro.dll game.nes
