[WIP] Aura 4K

This is my last review of Aura design for retroFE called Aura 4K. It is a layout with a native resolution of 4K, for use with a monitor or television with 4K resolution.
By popular request will come in two native resolutions: (3840 x 2160) and (1920 x 1080)

* This layout requires adapted and edited artworks

• Central image at 1120x1080 resolution (without any letter or logo)
• Left and right images = Central image with 15% Gaussian blur
• Logos in PNG with transparency at 740 x740 resolution.
• Three screenshots at 1280 x 720 resolution.
• Video files are used for play music of the selected game.

* Work in progress (redesigning control settings screen and other stuff)

How about the implementation of .info files for games? Do you intend to do it or do you discard the idea?. I need it to make the implementation of the controls screen much easier for the community. Once I have this finished I will release "aura" on GitHub.

Just curious on the controls thing.  Cpwiz will do per game controller images.  It can batch images out per game.  I used it for mame on my setup.  Just an idea if per game info not an option.  Themes look great btw.  Good luck.

Edited the first page to show my latest work. From now on I will only work on this design (Aura 4K), because it is much simpler, intuitive and beautiful than the original aura. Everything I have learned with aura, I applied it in a more functional way in Aura 4K

I'm really sorry for those who expected the original aura design to come out. Designing and editing two layout and all of artworks takes a lot of time out of my life and I am not willing to leave other things aside because I am 100% of my free time designing for retrofe.

I am finalizing the details and optimizing the images so that it works as fluid as possible. As soon as I finish the optimization phase I will explain what artworks and what modifications are needed to add the games to this Layout.

I've worked hard over the weekend to redesign the controls screen. I've put a screenshot on the first page of the thread. What do you think?

I like it. It's a lot of work pulling the artwork together, but perhaps it gathers a following like Aeon Nox on HyperSpin did.

RetroFE will automatically scale any layout to your screen settings, so that should be no issue.
