Problem - Systems with . in title

Hi...

Does RetroFE have issues with systems that have a full stop in the title?

Can't seem to get Tiger Game.com to work properly - not seeing roms, etc.

I can confirm this is an issue, but only with the meta info. Looking at the meta.db database the system names are trimmed at the first occurrence of the period. Microsoft Windows 3.x is stored as Microsoft Windows 3 and Tiger Game.com is stored as Tiger Game in the db so when it is queried for the meta it doesn't match.

I will have a closer look. I wouldn't be surprised if it's used to differentiate between files and directories as well. I need to do some fixes in that area anyway, so I'll give it a closer look.

Ran into the . problem a few time before in the xml files. Try replacing the . with . and it should read properly. Some dat files use html encoding for special symbols typically used for coding and functions.

Thanks. In this case though it's because the full stop is being used to split the string. Don't that substitutions will help with this specific issue.
