1. I still haven't figured out how to get that into the code base. It's on my todo list though.
2. Use a second entry with mode="system" to display system information for a game.

1. Ok, I'll wait for it to be implemented
2. I've already tried it and it does not work. As soon as you go to the list of games, the element disappears, even if you use mode = "system".

1. I need full support to the Spanish language. Right now the accents, the letter ñ and others are not shown.
2. I need the information that is inside the info.conf file of a collection can also be used in the list of games.
    Now when you go from the main menu to the secondary, this information disappears even though you put alpha = 1.

@iGarikoitz - In the latest theme download. You named the conf files in the info folders using the game names which causes the game info not to appear. These need renaming to game.conf for the info to start displaying again.

Not sure if this is an oversight or not.

Use the latest beta: Aura 1.0 beta v2

If you put for example garou.zip inside the garou mark of the wolves folder, you will see that the conf file inside the info folder has the same name as garou.zip that is: garou.conf The file of the game and the file conf that is inside the folder info, they must have the same name so that the information of the game is shown in the frontend.

firewater and makaveeti, I'm glad you like it.

As nice as the theme is, could you make a "dark" or "lights out" version of the theme?
I'll think about it, although first I want to improve some things.

New update: Aura 1.0 Beta v2
  • Change the way to show the features of the game towards a more intuitive way in the main menu.
  • Optimization of several images of the gamepad.
  • Updated game loading system to use the default RetroFE system to load RetroArch and MAME ROMs.
  • Added new game: Street Fighter III 3rd Strike.

First post updated too.

Maybe over time I put a system selection menu, but for now I'm going to leave the Layer as it is: Main menu with all the games and then the information screen.

It is a video with the dimensions of the album edited in final cut pro x in my imac. The initial pause existed in the video itself and when it finishes reproducing, I made a sweep towards the cover so that after this the video disappeared. I had to skip the limitations of the RetroFE animations system and I could not think of anything else to do it with a video.

When you add a game, you have to include six images in JPG. Why in JPG image format? Because RetroFE works more fluid using JPG compared to PNG.
  • Cover Resolution: 460 x 690 pixels.
    Game artwork with logo.
  • Fanart Resolution: 1280 x 720 pixels.
    Same Game artwork occupying the entire width.
  • Fanart blur Resolution: 1280 x 720 pixels.
    Same Fanart image with 15% Gaussian blur.
  • Screenshot 1 Resolution: ? x 220 pixels (Depends on the screen ratio).
    Title screen. The height has to be 220 pixels.
  • Screenshot 2 Resolution: ? x 220 pixels (Depends on the screen ratio).
    First gameplay screenshot. The height has to be 220 pixels.
  • Screenshot 3 Resolution: ? x 220 pixels (depends on the screen ratio).
    Second gameplay screenshot. The height has to be 220 pixels.

@iGarikoitz in the .bat what line should you put to use just the MAME emulator because I do not use Retroarch

Here is the solution:

1. Download mame and put inside of the emulators folder
2. Put the rom file in the rom folder inside mame folder
3. edit the code of game.bat file to:

"../../emulators/mame/mame64.exe" -rompath "../../emulators/mame/roms" "rom name"

From time to time I usually look at the commits of the RetroFE code in Bitbucket. I have seen the last one that you have published: Added support for menu directory as an alternative to menu.txt for adding collections to a menu structure.

With this it is possible to avoid having to write an entry in the menu.txt and it would be retrofe able to search and add "on the fly" the systems of a specified folder?

If this is the case, it seems an incredible addition that will save a lot of time when adding new games to my "Aura" layout.
