Hi,
I have used a tool I will share later when back at home to check the required libraries and this has fixed my issue, i was just about to reinstall the OS from scratch otherwise...
I haven't been able to identify what has been changed to be honest so maybe useless for you though.

Problem is that it does even not generate a log.txt and i checked as well in the logs of windows and nothing neither...
I am trying a last solution otherwise i will have to reinstall a new win7 and check again.

Hi,
I have installed the rc8 and i have an error message on windows 7 when running retrofe, has someone encountered this issue ?
i have tryied mame on its own and it does work fine.
Before this message i had an issue with msvcp140.dll which i have dl for 32bit and 64bit and placed them accordingly to their respective folder in system32 and the one for 64bit

Do you guys know why retrofe.exe is now detected as a potential threat from my work antivirus (McAfee)?

the previous version did not have any problem with it, it is maybe an update from the database of McAfee though.

Hi,
This functionality would be good, I agree with firewater.
Perhaps one way to manage it is to have a video file scanner listing the whole video path sets and then run a one time process with same normalization config for all of them rather than doing live audio corrections which may crunch the processor.
