As with all things... It had nothing to do with the above but all of my ROMS had a (DW****) Number after them that I just blatantly didn't notice... Had a feeling it was my error that caused this issue... I did learn how to get scanning working, though. I am glad for that.

Hi Peter, I say that knowing full well you're going to end up helping me out once again.

I know you don't do RetroArch but it supports more games and I've been working on expanding my roster... Working on Sega CD right now.

Here's my Launcher pad under launchers.windows (Had to go back to Windows to play Ps2 games.. )

I've changed the name, checked spelling, I've set up about 7 other systems I haven't had an issue until Sega CD.  I can however launch via CMD With C:\Users\Sephiroth\Downloads\RetroArch\retroarch.exe -L "C:\Users\Sephiroth\Downloads\RetroArch\cores\genesis_plus_gx_libretro.dll" "R:\RetroFE\collections\Sega CD\roms\Adventures of Batman & Robin, The (USA).bin"

Of course, log files are attached as well. I've been battling this kind of off and on for a week and figured it was time for you to tell me how obvious the fix is.

I'm a -huge- fan of CRT shaders because well... all our favorite games look awful on 4k TVs and honestly I'd die a happy man if I never had to carry around another CRT Television in my life. I love that I can get this effect without the need of the actual TV.

I've actually contemplated going through and making a SQ Movie of all of the games I have with shaders enabled but then realized that I change my shaders depending on the TV I am using and it would look quite a bit off if I slipped in a different TV.

First, would it even be possible to port Shaders from Mame/Retroarch/whatever else you guys use? I personally use Mame, Retroarch, and Demul(Not a fan but it's all there is).

I absolutely love this front end simply because I do what I want when I want with it, and once you kind of understand the logic behind it... it's logical (Looking at you Hyperspin)

I did a forum search and didn't find anything with bgfx/shaders but if I missed it please point me in the right direction. If there's some backwards way of implementing it let me know - and if you have some general grunt work you'd like me to do I'm not a coder but I kind of get computers and can learn.

I think I figured out what caused it. I completely forgot about updating my graphics card after the reinstall. I noticed it when I tried playing MAME games and they were all but unplayable. So that error is just unoptimized png files? I was figuring I screwed something up again

Thanks, kind of what I thought but I had a doozy of a time after transferring from Windows-Linux (I don't think I'll have half the problems I had before, some of them were just simply file errors because my external Hard Drive is going bad.)

It's not the same, it's actually a bit weaker. I had a couple of "throw away" computers at my old job and I swapped them from the trash. They both had Intel Core-2 Duos though and Ram is cheap as dirt for them. Also have a few SSDs sitting around, making them perfect arcade boxes.

You gave me enough to go on. I was looking for .dll files and it was a .so file. Here's a sample one that ended up making it work on my machine. Thanks again for all of your help, again Linux nub so it's the stupid small things that get me. I work in IT for a living so I can usually find out the complex stuff pretty easy, I just get burned on the details

Now I actually have work to do instead of exhausting googling and fiddling. I think I might throw together a RetroArch with RetroFE for Linux dummies if I have time after the holidays. I have 3 Christmas parties to go to in the next 3 days so time is going to be sparse.

Aha knew there was something I was missing. I tried finding another config file but definitely wasn't looking in the right places. I originally copied folder by folder to another hard drive ( I kept my windows partition up and didn't have enough room on this hard drive for everything.) but I didn't copy my conf's over. Silly me.

 I did the Sudo apt-install for both Retroarch/Mame. Honestly, because I a lot of experience with Lakka I'm going to go the RetroArch route if I can as well as many have said it's more flexible.

So what do I put as the executable? I've tried retroarch - Which is what launches it through the terminal - but I get the same problem in the log file.
