Title: RetroFE MAME setup - Error

Hi all,

Very new to Retro Fe and loving it so far, been running into some challenges. (But that is half the fun.) ;)

I've downloaded the RetroFE MAME setup and added a Test Rom to it but the game doesn't start, it just goes back to the list of games.

I've added the log file, but I think this is the part that is most interesting bit

MAME is special, and uses the mame.ini file to determine the rompath. Could you upload yours?

Hi, thanks for quick reply.

I've added the ini file. It was missing from the download so I copied an older one I've used before.

That seems to be one of mine.
Try executing the command from the commandline in the MAME directory; it should tell you exactly what's wrong.

Just checking: did you also grab the neogeo.zip file? Zupapa is a Neo-Geo game if I'm not mistaken.

Not really sure which command your talking about.

But I ran mame64.exe from the command line and it starts. just for testing I copies Zupapa to the Roms folder and tried to run it, I get prompted by the following errors.

So I've got it running now!

Adding the NeGeo.zip file solved the problem...

On to the next challenge! :)
