Title: Collection category
Post by: bodbod on May 14, 2017, 02:57:12 PM
Hey,

I believe it would be good as well to have a collection section in the artwork section.
People could post their workings and help RetroFe to be fully complete as the other front ends.

I think it would be wise to work together with the other communities rather than do everything ourselves. I know truRIP is very busy setting up new sets; we should team up with them, and get the HyperSpin community to join as well.

I am definitely fine with this solution but we need a shared repository to progress and let everyone contributes, it's a huge work and we could advance quicker with more hands I think or avoid duplicate work.

Where are these discussions held?
Where are the databases?
Do they have a website? database.trurip.org (http://database.trurip.org/) doesn't allow any new users.

I agree with bodbod that we need somewhere on the forums where artwork and databases can be discussed. Especially now that the forum is starting to pick up. Hopefully soon we will have a large community of our own.

Indeed. Best way to contact them is via PD, though there's a member lurking on these forums as well. I'll see if I can check with him to see how best to go from here.
