This is a collection of stories and meta data for the No-Intro rom sets. Data is scraped from multiple sites. These collections pertain to the FULL set of roms so there will be info for multiple regions of a game if it exists. As much as I hate rom tags all romnames will be a 1:1 match to the No-Intro database (http://datomatic.no-intro.org/). If you can't find your game in this collection then there probably isn't much meta for it floating around the web...
Anyone finds any errors let me know so I can fix them.
XML files are compatible with HyperSpin and RetroFE.
If you change
<menu> to <datafile>
and
</menu> to </datafile>
it will be compatible with clrmamepro as a parent clone dat so you can make a 1G1R collection.

If anyone is interested in helping with these sets. I am willing to share the dropbox folder. Collecting the info is the easy part, but organizing it is much slower. I would like to eventually start going through the files and possibly merging some of the stories or just keeping the best ones to make an "Official" pack. Same thing with the XML data and the platform stories.
Also should I add info from any other sites? I am thinking about adding GiantBomb (https://www.giantbomb.com), Wiki, and Video Game Console Library (http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/)

It's always tricky to get everything together: roms, XML, art, story files, etc. It doesn't help that there's so many different naming schemes out there. Perhaps it would be a good idea to check with truRIP regarding their plans? They're working on complete sets, mostly on the newer sets at the moment, but I believe they also want to tackle the older systems. That might be the best way to get a complete database with all needed files together. I'll see if I can contact them.

All downloads moved to Mega

Do you have any updates Dustind900?
-
Sadly no. It was a big undertaking and at the time no one was really interested. But now with all the available scrapers out there it's not really needed.
-
Awesome work! I do wish you can keep it updated.
Where can I find the downloads for Sega CD / Sega Game Gear etc. that were added later?
